Beyond Horizon - Cosmic Messages
The sun is our home star, but it is only one of around 70 quadrillion stars in the entire observable universe. With 70 thousand million million million stars out there, it's highly likely that there is life somewhere. However, despite extensive searching, we have yet to find any evidence of extraterrestrial life. Additionally, we don't know if we've been discovered by other intelligent beings. Nevertheless, there are always mysterious signals that could potentially come from aliens. In our workshop, we will take a closer look at supposed messages and explore the possibility of contact with other civilizations. We will also assume the role of "the others" and try to determine if they can understand the messages we send. Lastly, we will discuss what topics we would even broach with aliens if we made contact.
